The Susanville Police Department is releasing information and video surveillance footage from the second hold-up in less than a month at the Beacon gas station on Main Street.
According to the department, officers responded at around 2:40a.m. Saturday to the Beacon gas station on a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who reported that two subjects had entered the store, one armed with a shotgun and the other with a baseball bat, who demanded money.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the report continues, the suspects ran in the direction of North Weatherlow Street.
The suspects were both wearing dark clothing, including dark colored hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled over their heads.
One suspect is described as a light skinned male approximately 5’0” to 5’6” tall with dark hair and medium build.
The second subject was described as a male approximately 5’6” to 5’10” tall and medium build.
At this time, according to Police Chief Tom Downing, no further information is available about their identity and the case is still under investigation.
