A crew of dedicated volunteers joined with the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Tuesday to assemble a gorgeous new community Christmas tree at the head of Susanville’s Main Street in preparation for this weekend’s Magical Country Christmas celebration.

The almost 40-foot tall artificial tree has more than a thousand lights and a host of decorations – all ready to be lit up when Santa makes his grand entrance Saturday evening.

You can see the entire assembly process in just three minutes with our SusanvilleStuff Video Feature. Good job Chamber of Commerce, this is a decoration the town can be proud of!
