Lassen County Registrar of Voters Julie Bustamante announced Thursday that emergency workers responding to wildfires in our area who are unable to vote in their hometown for the September 14th, Gubernatorial Recall Election, can vote a provisional ballot that will be sent to the county they are registered to vote.
Election Officials will be setting up a provisional voting location at Riverside Park, located at 1665 Riverside Dr. adjacent to the Incident Command Center in Susanville on Sunday, September 4th, and Monday, September 5th, between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 2:00p.m.
Emergency workers can also come to the Election office, located in the Annex building located behind the Historic Courthouse at 220 S Lassen Street in Susanville during normal business hours.
The Election Office will be open on Saturday, September 11th, through Monday September 13th, from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., and on Election Day, September 14th, from 7:00a.m. to 8:00p.m.
