National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 6th – 12th and Lassen Family Services is planning an event for April 12th to promote ‘justice through service to crime victims’ which will include a community Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, a law enforcement chili cook-off and informational fair.
The theme for this year’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week commemoration is “30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice.”
If you, your service club, organization or business would like to walk in the event you can click here and register at lassenfamilyservices.org. If you pre-register for the walk by March 23rd you’ll receive a free t-shirt.
The family fun morning will include a chance to help judge the law enforcement chili cook-off and you can visit informational booths to learn about the services in our community!
