Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5:00 this afternoon until 11:00a.m. Saturday.
Forecasters expect now above 5,000 feet and rain here in the valley. Snow accumulations up to 2 inches in western Lassen are forecast.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra counties.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact travel Friday evening through Saturday morning.
