Weather Bulletin: Wind Advisory in Effect Until 4:00a.m. Wednesday

Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Wind Advisory for Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra counties, including Westwood, Sierraville,
Gardnerville, Verdi, Portola, Susanville, Sparks, and Loyalton
until 4:00a.m., Wednesday.

Forecasters expect southwest winds from 20 to 30mph with gusts up to 50mph. Gusts up to 60mph are possible in wind prone areas along US-395 and I-580.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
