Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Winter Weather Advisory, in effect until 10:00 this evening, as valley locations, including Susanville, are expected to see accumulations of up to four inches snow during the day.
West of Susanville, in the upper elevations, between four and ten inches are forecast.
Winds will be gusting as high as 50mph, with gusts up to 65mph in wind prone areas along US-395.
The Winter Weather Advisory covers Lassen, eastern Plumas and eastern Sierra counties.
