The Westwood Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Chowder Cook-Off Saturday, with lots of visitors braving the wintery weather to taste some of the delicious offerings from teams competing for prizes.
The Lassen County Cattlewomen took first place, second went to the Fire Safe Council and the Chimney Fund entry took third in the judged competition.
First place in the People’s Choice category went to the Chimney Fund, second place went to the Lassen County Cattlewomen and third place went to the Fire Safe Council.
Chimney Fund received the award for best booth.
Chamber Executive Director Lana Beal thanked Lassen College and the Clampers for having a booth and everyone who came out on this winter day to join in the fun.
