4:36p.m. Crews quickly extinguished the vegetation fire and are now, according to scanner traffic, beginning to mop-up after the fire.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area around Wall Street and Prospect Ave to allow access to emergency vehicles.

4:27p.m. Fire fighters are responding to a reported brush fire burning in the backyard of a residence near Prospect Ave and Wall Street in Susanville.
Agencies responding include Susanville City Fire Department, Cal Fire, Susan River Fire and Susanville City Volunteers.
