BBQ beef tri-tip or chicken, baked potato, green salad, roll and desert are all on the menu this evening as the 4H Barbecue kicks-off the 2013 Lassen County Fair from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at the fairgrounds
Dinner is $14 for adults, $7 for children under 10.
The proceeds from the fundraiser are used to fund county wide 4H events like Presentation Day, Home Arts Extravaganza, the 4H Fashion Review, Dog Show, Horse Show, skills days, leadership conferences, study travel, record book medals and year end pins.
There will also be a chance to win ten bales of grass hay donated by Joe and Dawn Egan, a full prime-rib donated by Mae West Show Calves, a half-lamb from Thistle Down Farm and ten bales of grass hay donated by Darcy and Jack Hanson.
