In a follow-up to a story we reported here yesterday, the Lassen County Coroner has identified the man whose body was discovered in Paiute Creek late Tuesday morning as 61-year old Susanville resident Barrie Inlay.

Sgt. Kevin Jones from the Sheriff’s Department, which holds the responsibility of Coroner within the county, explained that a cause of death has not yet been determined, and an autopsy has been scheduled for April 3rd at the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office in Reno.

The Lassen County Sheriff’s Department worked in conjunction with the Susanville Police Department during the investigation.
