Lassen Varsity baseball beat Anderson twice on Tuesday to stay in First place in the NAL. This brings Lassen’s league record to 10-1 and their season record to 20-6.
In game one Lassen stomped Anderson 16-4. Pitching for Lassen were Ryan Sharpe, Nate Freeman and Daniel Perry. At the plate for Lassen Joey Beck had 2 home runs, a base hit and an RBI, Jarrell Cunningham had 3 base hits and 2 RBI, Colby Chavez a double, a base hit and 3 RBI, Ryan Sharpe a double a base hit and 2 RBI, Logan Loflin 2 base hit and 2 RBI, Nate Freeman a double and an RBI, and Clinton McGill had a base hit.
In game two Lassen beat Anderson 13-8. Pitching for the Grizzlies were Garrison Collier and Jarrell Cunningham. At the plate for Lassen Ryan Sharpe had a double, 2 base hits and 2 RBI, Garrison Collier had 3 base hits and 2 RBI, Jarrell Cunningham had 2 doubles, Nate Freeman had 2 base hits, Colby Chavez and Daniel Perry had a base hit and an RBI a piece, and Joey Beck had a base hit.
Lassen will play their last regular season game on Friday May 3, at 4:00pm at Memorial park.
