Janesville Union Elementary School District: Bus Driver (Two Positions)
The Janesville Union Elementary School District announces the following classified part-time
positions for the 2025/26 school year:
POSITION: Bus Driver (Two Positions)
SCHOOL SITE: Janesville Union Elementary School
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on the Classified Salary Schedule (Range: $21.81
to $23.59 dependent upon experience). PERS Retirement. 11 month
employee plus paid holidays and paid vacation.
HOURS: 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid California Class B Driver’s license with a passenger
endorsement. School Bus Driver’s Certificate; valid Medical Certificate
Fonn DL 51-A: and Red cross First Aid’CPR Ce1tificatc or comparable.
Knowledge of local roadways and special driving pwblems and
techniques caused by frequent inclement weather: safe driving practices:
California Motor Vehicle Code.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Hearing and speaking to exchange infom1ation in person and/or on the
telephone; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of
hands and fingers; kneeling, bending at the waist and reaching overhead,
above the shoulders and horizontally; climbing, walking over rough or
uneven surfaces; moderate stress level.
