Did you miss the Lassen County Arts Council High School opening reception? If so, it’s not too late to go to the gallery and see the artworks. The art will be on display through Friday, May 2nd. The gallery is located at 807 Cottage Street in Uptown Susanville. The gallery is open Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 to 7:00p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Stop in to see the fabulous artworks before the show ends.
It’s time to elect your next ASB and Class Officers. Grab your election forms from Carol in the ASB Office and return back to her ASAP. The deadline is Tuesday, May 6th.
Who will be our next Miss Lassen County? Applications are now available for all Junior and Senior girls. Please see Mrs. Bennett in Room 115 for an application. Deadline is May 23rd.
Attention Native American Students Come see Nancy or Amanda in the library to find out information. Pick up an application on the American Indian Summer Institute, hosted by Chico State University this June. Application are due April 30th, and space is limited.
Girls Basketball Open Gym are on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:30p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00p.m.
Seniors – Cap and Gowns will arrive on May 6th and can be picked up at LHS after 12:00p.m.
Senior Trip – all signed permission slips need to be turned in to Mrs. Vincent by May 8th.
Senior Prom – Bids are on sale in ASB Office for $10. Seniors and their guest only. Prom is May 10th, 2025 at Sentimental Journey from 8:00p.m. to 11:00p.m.
Want to be in the Video for Baccalaureate Night? Baccalaureate ceremony is non-denominational, religious-based ceremony that offers a smaller, more intimate opportunity for the graduating class and their families to pause, reflect on this rite of passage, celebrate through prayer and performance, and celebrate the graduates’ achievements and perseverance. It is not required to attend, and it is organized by parents and community members.
Lassen High’s Baccalaureate Night will be held the Sunday before graduation at the Susanville Assembly of God Church, from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. If you want to be included in the video for Baccalaureate, email a jpeg version of your senior picture to [email protected] by May 23rd. You may also include your favorite Bible verse if you wish.
