It was a lovely day for a picnic Wednesday as members of the Susanville Rotary Club trekked to the gravesite of Lassen County pioneer Peter Lassen for their weekly meeting. The grave is on Wingfield Road, near the Hulsman Ranch, and Rotarians took the opportunity to soak up the sun in one of the prettiest corners of the county.
