According to Lassen County’s Registrar of Voters Julie Bustamante an error on the Lassen County ballot for the State Assembly District 1 Member will not disqualify the race.
Information on the ballot should have stated that Megan Dahle is an Assemblywoman/Farmer and Businesswoman. Her challenger, Elizabeth Betancourt, should have been listed as a Farmer and Watershed Scientist.
Bustamante said that candidates in the race have been notified and a postcard showing the correction is being sent to Lassen County voters.
Notices have been posted in all Voting Assistance locations and on the Election office’s website.
