We live in a town with a lot of talented artists, and now those folks have a new place to call home.
Alison Templeton has announced the opening of her brand new Crow’s Nest Studio in uptown Susanville.
The studio, at 1015 Main Street, will feature art supplies, workshops, gift certificates and open studio hours.
According to Templeton, a fine artist in her own right, the studio is, “mostly for the kids that have no art in schools, I want them to have the opportunity to express themselves.”
“It’s also for people that have always wanted to try art but have never really had the time or the talent.”
The studio will also have space available for rent, perfect for club meetings, birthday parties and other events.
The grand opening of the Crow’s Nest Studio will be Saturday, November 19th, from 11:00 to 4:00. You can come enjoy hot cider, snacks and be a part of a fun art project. For more information you can call Alison at 257-ARTS (2787).
