Lassen County Animal Shelter is calling on shepherd savvy dog owners.
Baron is a big handsome boy searching for his new forever home before the new year hits us. He arrived at the shelter as a stray, so his background history is unknown, however staff has been slowly learning more and more about this giant hunk of love.
He’s dog friendly, though would do best matched with a female should there be another dog in his potential new home. So far, Baron hasn’t given the resident shelter cats any problems, choosing to turn his head and move on when a kitty in a kennel gets worked up over his presence.
Baron is about 7 years old, neutered, UTD on his vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. If interested in meeting Baron, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please call staff at (530) 257-9200 to set up a meeting and greet.
Additional: The Lassen County Animal Shelter will be closed Dec 25 and 26 in observance of Christmas day. Staff wishes everyone a happy holiday and the shelter will open again on Wed the 27th. Thank you
