Banner Lassen Medical Center will be conducting a remodel from January 30th to March 30th. The remodel project includes new flooring for the main corridors of the hospital.
The hospital will remain open during the project, but there will be alternate routes for patients and visitors entering the hospital.
“We are very excited about the new flooring, and we know it will provide a better atmosphere for our patients,” said Mike Novosad, Support Services Manager at Banner Lassen Medical Center.
The hospital is busy preparing signage and mapping out routes for patients and visitors during the remodel. Signs will be posted at the front entrance of the hospital directing where the patient or visitor should enter the building.
The hospital will also provide an escort for people, to make finding their destination a smooth process.
“We want to make this process as easy as possible for our patients and visitors,” said Cindy Willis Service Excellence Director.
The hospital will be able to function to its full capacity through the entire remodel , including all emergency services. “When you enter the hospital you might see a construction site for a while, but the finishing product will be amazing,” said Novosad.
The first phase of the remodel will include the front lobby area and the public will be instructed to use the Emergency Room Entrance. If you should have any questions concerning the remodel, please call 252-2000.
