SitSpot Canine Center
SitSpot Canine Center will be hosting a special dog training workshop, Companion Walking, this Saturday, April 6th, from 10:30a.m. to 1:00p.m.

At this three-hour workshop, attendees will learn three different, easy techniques to teach your dog to walk politely on leash. No more sidewalk tug of war with your dog.

SitSpot owner Jackie Earnshaw says, “Now that spring is finally here, you will getting outside more. Make your walks with your dog more enjoyable by attending this workshop.”

The cost of the workshop is $50 and pre-registration and pre-payment are required. SitSpot Canine Center is located at 472-380 Johnstonville Rd. Call SitSpot at 1.530.257.3161 to register.


Banner Health Clinic
Volunteers from Banner Health Clinic, along with board members from Susanville Little League, spent their Saturday cleaning up the Little League clubhouse, getting it ready for opening day.

Last week the team from Banner Health Clinic participated in the 2024 Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities Connection event.


Lilith’s Place
The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce’s ribbon cutting for Lilith’s Place, a new Main Street shop featuring twenty-one local merchants and their hand made arts and crafts, will be held this Friday, April 5th, at noon.

Lilith’s Place is located at 1410 Main Street and carries a large variety of metaphysical items and tools including, candles, crystals and sage.

Lilith’s offers classes, workshops, tutorials and owners Heather Arter, Kat Robinson and Jolynn Thompson said they have big plans for a local public herb garden for everyone to enjoy. Tarot readings and other forms of divination are available to those who inquire.

Arter says, “The goal of this space is to create a welcoming and healing atmosphere for everyone who wants to benefit from it. From natural remedies to education about our practices, we are so excited to share some Magick with the Lassen County area.”
