She graduated from Victor High School and moved to Lassen County at the age of 18. Over the years, Dawn worked for the BLM, Head Start, and the Susanville Indian Rancheria. His devoted daughter Susan Tangeman was at his side in Redding, California. Richard was born June 1 1920, to a citrus farming family in San Dimas, California.
