All up and down Main Street in Susanville the local Soaring Eagle Blue Star Moms are lining the road, holding their big annual Fill-A-Combat Boot campaign and they need your donations!
Care packages and other items are mailed on a regular basis, and this year the Blue Star Moms are also planning a campaign to gather sports and recreational equipment for the troops. As you can well imagine the postage to send these items to military zones overseas is enormous.
The Blue Star Moms will be out on Main Street taking your donations until 3:00 this afternoon.
