Five Fort Bidwell residents were transported to Banner Lassen Medical Center Saturday with injuries that they sustained in a two-car collision on Highway 395 near Janesville.
According to the California Highway Patrol’s incident report, a woman identified as 45-year old Fort Bidwell resident Dewayna L. Townsend had stopped at the intersection of Highway 395 and County Road A3 before turning left onto the highway directly in front of a 1992 Nissan pickup driven by Janesville resident Brian Larimer.
The front of Townsend’s 2014 Dodge Caravan struck the front of the Nissan Pickup.
Townsend and her passengers all reported minor injuries in the collision.
