Despite a cold, blustery morning Susanville Little League had a big turnout April 13th, as players, parents, coaches and teams kicked off the 2024 season with a big Opening Day celebration, complete with a parade along River Street to Pat Murphy Field.
Opening ceremonies following the parade at Pat Murphy included an introduction of the teams, a raffle, singing of the national anthem, the Little League Pledge and the first pitch was thrown by former Lassen County Sheriff Dean Growdon.
