The Susanville Seventh-day Adventist Church is inviting the community to a hands-on “Grow Your Own Microgreens” workshop on Thursday, September 24th, at 6:00p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Susanville.
Attendees will learn how to grow nutrient-packed microgreens at home that can be harvested in just days. The class covers the health benefits of microgreens, growing and harvesting techniques, home food production and healthy living principles.
The cost is $20 per person, which includes all supplies:
- Wide-mouth mason jar and self-watering adapter
- Speckled pea seeds and radish seeds
- Spray bottle, cotton pad, and tin foil
- Carry bag
The workshop is limited to 100 participants. The deadline to RSVP and submit payment is this Friday, August 28th.

All proceeds after expenses will be donated to Evangelistic Ministries to support community health outreach and education.
