The Lassen Historical Society will be presenting a special event on October 28th featuring a look at Peter Lassen, early explorer and Lassen County namesake, and his Danish heritage.
Two guest speakers will make presentations on Peter Lassen; researcher Dave Freeman and author Ken Johnston.
Following the program Job’s Daughters will be serving Abelskivers, a traditional Danish treat, for a small donation.
The program will be held in the Masonic Temple on North Lassen Street beginning at 2:00p.m. The free event is open to all.
