Three dancers from J and J Performing Arts traveled to Lake Tahoe July 20th, to compete in the annual Starbound National Dance Competition, bring home some impressive awards in the process. The event, which is billed as the largest dance competition in America, draws dancers and performers from studios across the country.
The J and J dancers placed 5th overall, out of 11 elite teams, and also received the highest point award – an Elite Gold.
All three dancers – Taryn Farris, Parker Foreman and Kysenia Baesman are Lassen High students.
J and J’s upcoming performance season begins August 24th and the studio will be offering ballet, jazz, tap, acro, tumble, mommy and me, tot hop, modern and much more.
