JH Heating Weather: Frozen Fog Warning Until 10a.m. Friday

The National Weather Service office in Reno is warning Lassen and Plumas County residents to expect dense freezing fog this morning.

The weather office expects freezing fog along highway 395. The fog should begin to dissipate this morning but may linger into the afternoon hours.

Visibility of 1/4 mile or less along with slick and icy roads will lead to hazardous travel conditions along Highway 395 between Susanville and Hallelujah Junction.

Travelers should slow down in areas of freezing fog…use low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
