You can earn your ABS Artificial Insemination Certification and 1.5 units of college credit at a four-day course being offered beginning this Friday at Lassen Community College.
The Cattle Reproduction Class will offer hands-on, practical learning with cattle onsite.
The class, which is being held January 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th at the college’s campus, will help students gain a valuable understanding of cattle reproduction, anatomy and physiology, synchronization protocols, AI procedures, and pregnancy checking.
Class is in session from 8:30a.m. until 5:15p.m. each day of the course.
Students will receive a certificate and a 10% discount on any semen purchased from ABS Global.
Cost of class is $75 for CA residents and $299 for out of state residence.
