Lassen County Arts Council Summer Art Program: African Mask This workshop is 12:30-2:30pm at 807 Cottage Street. Masks were created to wear in ceremonies and dances for a variety of reasons, including good health, traditions, and influencing nature. Annual Doyle Days Lizard Races. At 7:00pm on Friday it’s the lizard round-up, at 9:00pm Friday evening enjoy the kick-off dance at Buck’s Inn. Saturday at 7:00am is a 5K race and pancake breakfast then at 10:00am is the parade immediately followed by the 1st ever outhouse races, and at 12:00pm is the famous lizard races ending with a street dance at 8:00pm at Dixon Park in Doyle.
