There have been many break-ins reported in the past few months; the Chamber has experienced this first hand with a break-in of the office in February. In an effort to help area businesses prepare and prevent this from occurring, the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a symposium to discuss business safety and security. Information from Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, Susanville City Police Department, Alarm Companies, Data Protection and Back-up Companies, Insurance Providers, and others will be provided. A question and answer session will follow the presentations. The symposium will be held at Lassen Ale Works at the Pioneer Saloon, on Tuesday, March 18, 12 noon to 1:30 pm.
