The Chamber board of directors is accepting applications to fill a board vacancy. Chamber members interested in representing the business community and sharing their time and talents by serving on the board are encouraged to apply. The Board is seeking candidates who have business experience, community involvement, and the desire to represent the interests of the local business community. The 8th Annual Spring Home, Garden, and Outdoor Recreation Show will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 10am to 4pm, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Entry forms are now available on our website www.lassencountychamber.org . If your business falls in the home, garden, or outdoor recreation categories we hope to have your business participate in this year’s event. This event is a great way to promote your business; averages of 1500 people attend the show each year. For more information contact the chamber office staff at 257-4323.
Be sure that the Chamber’s information center has an adequate supply of your business cards and brochures on hand to promote your business throughout the year. This is a free marketing service that is available to all Chamber members.
The Business and Career Network’s 2014 Job Fair will be held Saturday, April 12th , from 9am to 12pm, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds. Businesses can meet, immediately interview job ready applicants, and create an applicant pool for future hiring needs.
