Lassen Family Services invites the community to join in supporting survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month at their upcoming Celebrity Dinner and Fundraiser on Saturday, October 17th, from 4:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, located at 473-465 Richmond Road in Susanville.
The evening will feature a three-course dinner, guest speakers, silent and live auctions, and a mocktail bar, all aimed at raising awareness and sparking change. A friendly competition is underway with your favorite local celebrities to see who can raise the most funds to ensure critical services continue. Guests are requested to wear formal attire.
“Support your favorite celebrity by sponsoring the event or donating an auction item on their behalf,” shared Lassen Family Services. “Then, for the night of, our celebrities will serve dinner and raise tips! And don’t forget to tip our mocktail bartender too! Keep an eye out over the next week for your celebrities! Combined, we will see who was able to rally the most support! Thank you to our community and to our generous partners. Without your support and dedication, we would not be able to do this!”
Tickets are available for individual admission at $50, pairs for $85, or a full table of eight for $350. Community members can purchase their tickets online at SimpleTix. When ordering, be sure to complete your purchase by selecting your dinner entrée, with a plant-based option readily available.
Those wishing to buy in person can pick up tickets in Susanville at Lassen Family Services, located at 1306 Riverside Drive, and Wheels West at 1303 Main Street, or in Janesville at Artisan Coffee, located at 464-440 Church Street. A very limited number will be sold at the door, so community members are encouraged to grab theirs early.
