Homecoming week is officially here at Lassen High School, bringing four fun-filled days of school spirit before an off-day on Friday!
HOCO-CHELLA Spirit Week: Sept. 21st – 24th
Get ready to dress up and show your school pride all week long:
Monday, September 21 – Meme Monday: Dress as your favorite meme (must be school-appropriate).
Tuesday, September 22 – Ellie Goulding Gold Rush: Wear your best gold and glitter.
Wednesday, September 23 – Major Lazer Light It Up: Light up campus in the brightest neon colors.
Thursday, September 24 – Festival Day: Come dressed ready for Coachella, 2016-style.
Friday, September 25 – No School!
Homecoming Dance: Saturday, Sept. 26th
Wrap up spirit week at the Homecoming Dance featuring a live DJ and plenty of dancing this Saturday, September 26th, from 8:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall. Presale Tickets are available from Carol in the ASB Office: Single: $17.00 ($15.00 with ASB sticker) Couple: $30.00 ($25.00 with ASB sticker)

Chalk Pastel Art Day is Wednesday, September 30th: Love to draw? Help create a temporary outdoor gallery on the zig-zag cement wall leading to the 700 building! Students will have the opportunity to create a 12” x 12” chalk drawing during periods 1 through 3.
To participate, submit a sketch or picture of your intended drawing to Ms. Weiher in rooms 716/717 by the end of the day on Monday, September 28th. Stop by the Art and Ceramics rooms for more info.
California Scholarship Federation: Membership forms are currently available in counseling or from Mrs. Satica. The Fall CSF meeting will take place at lunch on Wednesday, September 30th in Room 112.
National Honor Society: Community service forms are now available in Carol’s office. NHS members should pick up a form, complete it, and return it to Mrs. Egan.
