Volunteer campground hosts are being sought this year for multiple sites on the Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest.
Hosts are needed at the Almanor Recreation Complex, which includes Almanor North and Almanor South Campgrounds; Potato Patch Campground; Cherry Hill/Butte Meadows Campgrounds; and High Bridge Campground.
Host duties include welcoming visitors, posting daily reservations, sharing news and information, keeping a daily record, and maintaining clean and safe facilities.
The summer recreation season begins about a week before Memorial Day and extends through October or until the weather changes.
Hosts must have a self-contained RV or trailer and personal vehicle for transportation.
