Plane Pushed Out Into Snow
February 5th, 1960
Lassen Aire, Inc., a charter air service operating out of the Susanville Airport, has registered a complaint with the Susanville City Council stating there exists “very poor quality and arbitrary and discriminatory service at the Susanville Municipal Airport.”
A spokesman for the company based his complaint on the fact that the firm’s Piper Comanche was pushed out of the city-owned hangar and left overnight in eight inches of snow.
It was alleged this was done without the customary 30 days notice to vacate space rented on a month-to-month basis.
