End Squabble Over Paving
March 16, 1921

The movement called the town trustees of Susanville because of their activities in placing paving contracts seems about to be dropped.

After several meetings of those opposed to the paving committee was appointed to confer with the trustees and this committee later issued a statement setting forth that the members had become convinced that the paving should be permitted to proceed.

It was stated that the cost in district No. 2 would be the basis of $650 per fifty-foot lot. The committee suggests that the increased tax rate will be made up on the enhancement value of the property.
