Sacred Cantata to be Rendered
March 27, 1946


A sacred cantata “Seven Last Words of Christ,” will be presented the evening of Palm Sunday, April 14, in the Methodist church.

Taking part will be members of the Methodist choir; the boys’ and girls’ glee club of the Lassen union high school and junior college.

Irving Fritz of the high school faculty will direct musicians. In addition, three musicians from the College of the Pacific will come here to sing the solo parts. They are Phyliss Duval, soprano; Henry Walton, tenor; W. B. Oliver, baritone.

Miss Duval, who is a student, has had training abroad. The two men are both professors of voice.
