The Bates Comedy Company
November 20, 1905
Chester Carter, the advance agent of the above named company, was in Susanville Tuesday and Wednesday, billing the town and making arrangements for two nights entertainment at the Emerson Hall – Friday and Saturday evenings of this week.
There are nine people in the company, and the management announces “M’liss” for Friday evening – for Saturday event the comedy, “Because I love you So.”
This company is coming from the north, and the Lakeview Examiner reports that the plays presented in that town were well patronized and appreciated.
Reserved seats at regular price may be obtained at the jewelry Store of J. B. Williams.
