Tear Down Staging from New Susanville Hotel
November 28, 1925
The work of tearing down the staging around the new hotel was commenced yesterday by Contractor Rees.
Most of the staging on the Main Street side was torn down and the appearance of the building as it now stands gives one an idea of what the building will look like when it has been completed.
Most of the glass on the Main Street side, with the exception of the store glass, is in and the hotel is rapidly beginning to assume the appearance of a real hostelry.
Work on the inside of the building is being rushed by the contractor and while some delay has been experienced this week on account of the weather, it was not serious, and the building will undoubtedly be completed on schedule.
