Golfers and community members are invited to hit the links for a unique cause this summer! The staff of McKinley, Meadow View, and Diamond View schools are hosting the Moonlight Madness Golf Tournament on Friday, August 28th, at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course.
This exciting event offers a fun twist on the classic game, featuring nine holes played in the daylight, a break for dinner, and nine holes played under the moonlight. The action kicks off with a shotgun start at 5:00p.m. Entry is $500 per four-man team, which includes dinner as well as glow-in-the-dark golf balls. Participants are asked to bring two flashlights per team to help light the way once night falls.
All proceeds directly benefit students in the Susanville School District across McKinley, Meadow View, and Diamond View schools. Funds raised will go toward student incentive programs, scholarships and providing essential items like shoes, clothing and school supplies for local students in need.
Local businesses and community partners can also get involved by becoming a Hole Sponsor for $200. Sponsors will receive prominent signage at the tournament and recognition across social media before, during, and after the event. Additional donations and prize contributions are also greatly appreciated.
To register a team, sign up directly at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course clubhouse or contact Cyndy Martin by email at [email protected] or by phone at 1.530.310.2366.
