The members of William Davidson Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2381 made a big contribution to Lassen High’s Drill Team last week.
The Drill Team is one of the local groups that help out at the VFW breakfasts on the first Saturday of the month. They work for tips and the VFW also writes and receives grants that they give to a variety of programs.
“We love to work with the Vets and hear their stories and the Vets enjoy having some kids around to pass down their history,” said Drill Team Coach Shelley Bennett.
Bennett explained that the $400 donation will help with this year’s competition expenses.
