On the 100th day of the 45th president’s term more than 300,000 people in Washington DC and across the country joined together in a powerful demonstration of unity for jobs, justice, and climate action. You may have seen a plucky group of Susanville’s residents on Main Street participating in the “People’s Climate March” as well.
The community greeted them with car horns of support and some drivers pulled over to embrace and distribute bottled water to the participants.
The group of 34 began at the Lassen County Fairgrounds and walked with their signs, picking up litter along the way, to the Susanville Public Library where the action ended.
