Lassen Family Services CASA Program has teamed up with Susanville Police Officers’ Association to host a Superhero 5K fundraiser in Susanville’s Memorial Park on August 21st. Participants are invited to dress up in superhero attire for a fun run through the streets of town, escorted by a procession of emergency vehicles.
Registration is $20 with all proceeds from 5K registrations going towards the CASA program. Participants get a free event t-shirt. Make sure you register by Friday, August 12th, to get the correctly sized t-shirt.
Along with the 5K, the celebration of local superheroes will feature a costume contest, raffle and flag football with booths set up at Memorial Park. Dusty’s BBQ will be there selling his famous BBQ.
