The Reno Dance Company will be bringing their professional production of the traditional, holiday ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ to Susanville this November and auditions for local folks who want to be a part of the show will be held in the Diamond View Multi-Purpose Room on October 5th.
No dance experience is necessary and both boys and girls, and men and women are encouraged to try out. Sign-ups begin at 3:00p.m. and audition times are as follows:
- 3:30p.m. 6 – 9 years old
- 4:45p.m. 10 – 12 years old
- 6:00p.m. Ages 13 and up
- 7:00p.m. Ladies En Pointe
Rehearsals for the holiday extravaganza will be held November 14th through the 18th.
Hundreds of local residents travel to Reno each December to see The Reno Dance Company perform this spectacular ballet, this year we can see it right here to our hometown with performances at the Veterans Memorial Hall November 19th and 20th.
