There was excitement at a Main Street gas station Sunday as the driver of a fully-loaded rental van found himself pinned between a cement post and the gas pumps, with no easy way to get the truck out.
Officers from the Susanville Police Department, along with City of Susanville firefighters responded to help with a reported gasoline leak. A tow truck from Susanville Towing was required to get the truck back on the road.
It was not readily apparent at the scene how the driver of the van ended up wedged between the barrier post and the pumps.
