Vitalant Blood Services is partnering with local community heroes for the tenth annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive at the LDS Church, 905 Richmond Road, July 23rd and 24th. All donors will receive a custom ‘Battle of the Badges’ t-shirt.
The event is a friendly competition between law enforcement, fire and emergency personnel, enabling badge carrying personnel to positively impact their communities by participating in a spirited competition to see which agency can donate the most blood.
The Battle of the Badges blood drive competition allows donors to choose which organizations they want to donate blood on behalf of; Law Enforcement, Fire Protection or SEMSA. Join United Blood Services and emergency responders in an effort to save lives on and off the job.
To donate blood, volunteers must be at least 16 years old (16 year old donors need minor donor permits which are available at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health.

Donors can now make their appointment faster by filling out their Health History Questionnaire online at www.vitalant.org the day of their appointment and printing off their Fast Track Donation ticket.
