The Susanville Kiwanis organization is sponsoring two $1,000 scholarships for students pursuing either an academic or vocational career.
To qualify students must be graduating high school seniors from the Lassen High School District attendance area with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
All local students who are planning to attend a college, university, vocational or technical college are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
Detailed scholarship information is available at the Lassen High counseling office and the deadline to apply is April 15th.
