A Westwood woman was arrested Sunday after Susanville Police officers identified a vehicle that had been reported as stolen and searched it to find a large amount of methamphetamine, cash and stolen items.
According to Police Chief Kevin Jones, SPD Officers discovered the vehicle and it’s sole occupant, identified as 34-year old Westwood resident Tommie Vidana, within the City of Susanville shortly before 8:00a.m.
“After further investigation,” said Jones, “officers discovered multiple items of stolen property, 45 grams of methamphetamine, $4,000 in cash along with evidence of drug sales in the vehicle.”
Vidana was arrested and booked and held at the Lassen County Jail for possession of a control substance, possession for sale of a controlled substance, vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.
Her bail was set at $35,000 and according to Jones the case has been submitted to the District Attorneyās Office.
