The Lassen County Office of Education’s 34th annual Lassen County Children’s Fair, held May 4th at the fairgrounds, gave local kids a special day all their own – a low-cost and family friendly event where kids had a chance to win contests and prizes, check out emergency vehicle displays, educational booths, magic shows and inflatable bounce houses.
Special activities, this year based around a space theme, were part of the fun with many local organizations setting up booths to interact with visiting families.
Vendors were on hand to provide pizza, corndogs and more yummy stuff.
The Children’s Fair is intended to be a benefit to the community and not a profit-making opportunity.
